Marine Corps Exchange Guns - The Firearms Department will contact our sellers to determine if they have the firearm or accessory you are looking for, if they have it available, and an estimated delivery date. We will provide a price if available. If you still want to buy a firearm, you must come to the firearms department and pay for the firearm in full. Once paid, we will order the gun for you.

Before a "special order" can be placed with the Department of Firearms, you must physically possess either a current North Carolina Concealed Carry Permit or a valid North Carolina Pistol Purchase Permit for a handgun. For rifle and shotgun orders, a NICS background check must be completed prior to placing the order.

Note: The Department of Firearms cannot legally transfer a long gun to anyone in the state of North Carolina who has a North Carolina Concealed Carry Permit, a current North Carolina Pistol Purchase Permit, or the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS). This is ISNC state law.

Once everything is legally certified, the Ministry of Firearms will make arrangements with the company to ship the firearm here. When it arrives, the firearms department will process the gun and notify you that it is ready for pickup. You must come in and fill out ATF paperwork (Form 4473) and pay a $25.00 transfer fee before the gun will be released to you.

Unit transfers are made between the unit commander and the gunner. (We can provide COs if our gun manufacturer reps need help).

COs and the manufacturer arrange payment for the gun, not the firearms department. The firearms department then serves as a weapons store. When weapons arrive at our department, we process them and notify the unit CO/POC when they are available for pickup.
